Smart - Pickard

Mr. Frank Smart and Miss Victorine Pickard were married at the home of the bride's parents north-west of Bonaparte on Wesdesday, December 30, 1903, at high noon. About forty invited guests were present to witness the ceremony and enjoy the wedding feast which was served immediately after the wedding.

Mrs. Smart is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pickard and is a charming young lady of accomplishment sufficient to make a most estimable wife for Mr. Smart who at present is in the restaurant business at Stockport, Iowa.

Frank Smart is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Smart of Vernon Prairie. A reception was held at the Smart home on Thursday and a large number of guests enjoyed the occasion.
