ESTATE OF BASIL BOREN DECEASED (p. 365)

State of Iowa} In the matter of the Estate of Basil Boren deceased.
Van Buren County} In the Circuit Court of said County in vacation.

To the Hon. Circuit Court of said County.

Comes now Henry Roby a resident of said County and respectfully represents that on or about the 18th day of November A.D. 1876 Basil Boren of said County died intestate, leaving at the time of his death the following heirs to wit. Cassa Boren widow, Harrison Boren, Erastus Boren, heirs of Cassa McIntire deceased, heirs of Adaline Burchett deceased, and having at the time of his decease, personal property in this state which may be lost, destroyed or diminished in value, if speedy care is not taken of the same.

To the end, therefore that said property and debts may be collected and preserved, I respectfully request appointment of John C. Holland with full power and authority to act as administrator herein according to law. The total value of Real and Personal property of the decedent is about $1000. Personal $200.

State of Iowa} Estate of Basil Boren deceased
Van Buren County) In the Circuit Court

To R. P. Bell, J. G. Hargrove and George Wilson. You are hereby appointed to appraise all the personal property of Basil Boren late of said County, deceased, as far as the same shall come to your knowledge, setting of to the widows as by laws required. You will therefore after first being duly sworn proceed to make such appraisement as above required.

affixed at Keosauqua this 30th day of Nov. 1876.
