From Utica...This is one of the many little villages of which Van Buren can boast. Although it numbers few inhabitants, yet it contains an intelligent, liberal class of citizens who are noted for their hospitality....The professional men are far and few between, the only one being Dr. J.M. Randall, who attends to the wants of those who are afflicted. By strict attention to business and his free, easy manners, he has gained the esteem of all. Not long ago, however, the Dr. brought business to a very sudden check while he shuffled off this mortal coil of "single blessedness" and launched out into the peaceful quiet bay of marital bliss. We elevate our beaver in honor thereof, and wish him and his happy bride an unusual amount of prosperity and happiness.
