The many friends of Dr. J.M. Randall, late of Birmingham, will regret to learn that his health is very poor, and that fears are entertained that he cannot long survive. He is at the home of his daughter in Waterloo, this state. When visiting in Keosauqua with his wife a few months ago he called on this office and talked then of his physical condition, seeming to realize its seriousness, but expressed the thought that it was all for the best, that all had to die sometime and he was ready for the call when it came. The Dr. is close to 70 years of age.
