Brokaw – Dayhoff.

A charming home wedding took place at 12:30 o’clock today when Miss Nellie Dayhoff, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. H. C. Dayhoff, 2230 Pearl St. became the bride of Isaac H. Brokaw, of Bonaparte, Iowa. The guests included members of the family, among them being several from out of town. The bride’s father, assisted by Rev. Charles Dayhoff, of Ludlow, Mo., and Rev. E. S. Johnson of the First M. E. church, read the service.

Miss Dayhoff was unattended and wore a gown of ivory-colored crepe de chine. Her flowers were lilies of the valley, made into an artistic shower bouquet. About the room were vases of roses and peonies and ferns.

A prettily appointed bridal luncheon followed the ceremony. From 3 until 6 o’clock an informal reception was held and this evening the young people will leave for a trip to Denver, Colorado Springs and Salt Lake City. The bride’s going away costume is a tailored suit of tan and black with straw-colored hat to match.

They will make their home in Keosauqua, Iowa, where Mr. Brokaw is agent for the Rock Island railway – Sioux City Journal
