Know all men by these presents, I, Eliza Roberts of the Town of Farmington, Van Buren County, Iowa, considering the uncertainties of this life and being of sound mind and memory, I do make declare and publish this my last will and testament.

First, I give devise and bequeath unto my son W. H. Roberts, Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, to be paid out money from my estate.

Second, I give, devise and bequeath unto L. B. Jenkins of Farmington, Iowa, Twenty Five ($25.00) Dollars, to be paid out of money from my estate.

Third, I give devise and bequeath unto Ella Piatt of Moulton, Iowa, Fifty ($50.00) Dollars to be paid out of money from my estate.

Fourth, It is will and desire that there shall be erected at the head of my husband and my graves a monument to cost ($150) One hundred and Fifty Dollars, to be paid out of money from my estate.

Fifth, It is my will and desire that all my just debts shall be first paid.

Sixth, I give, devise and bequeath unto my son and daughters, as follows: W. H. Roberts, Rebecca Ann Jenkins, Nancy Matilda Van Zant, Isabella Amelia Strope, all the balance of my real and personal estate to be divided equally amongst them, share and share alike.

In testimony whereof I have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name and set my hand and seal this 14th Day of March 1896.

Signed, sealed, declared and published by the said Eliza Roberts as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at her request, in her presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto:

William Goodin, Farmington, Iowa.
