Local man is suicide victim

Kenneth L. Johnston, 62, took his own life Thursday at his home at 1013 Grand Park Drive, according to law enforcement officers.

Dr. Donal Hill, acting Jefferson County Medical Examiner, said Johnston died of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning. Services are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.

Officers said Johnston was found in an enclosed garage with his car running.
