THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 1970HIGHER MILK COST IN COUNTY SCHOOLS
All three school districts in Van Buren County will charge seven cents for special milk during the 1970-71 school year.
The increase in five cents per carton is due to a new federal government police of not reimbursing the special milk program. The action was taken on the recommendation of Vern Carpenter, chief of Iowa school food services.
