Bonaparte Reluctantly Parts
With one of her Fairest and
Best Beloved Daughter.

PIPE – CHAPMAN.

Monday, October 7, 1901, occurred the marriage of Miss Anna Iowa Chapman to Mr. Walter C. Pipe. The bride and groom, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Chapman, drove to Keosauqua Monday afternoon, secured a license and were married at the Methodist Parsonage, Rev. Jeffries officiating. They then returned to Bonaparte and ate the wedding supper at the home of the bride’s sister Mrs. W. A. Packer.

Mrs. Pipe is a daughter of A. Chapman, and her home has always been in Bonaparte. Her departure will be deeply regretted as she has taken an active part in so many interests in Bonaparte, and her energy and business ability, together with her literary accomplishments will cause her to be missed especially in church and social circles. She was president of Chapter A B, P.E.O., and the ladies do not appreciate the suddenness which they have been deprived of their leader. Mr. Pipe is a skilled builder and contractor of St. Louis, and an honorable young man.

Mr. and Mrs. Pipe will go to their home in St. Louis next week, followed by the best wishes of their many Bonaparte friends.
