CENTENNIAL PICNIC

The Bonaparte Picnic Society held their annual picnic in Sunken Gardens No. 3, Sycamore Grove, Los Angeles, on July 18th, with a potluck dinner at one-thirty. There was a good attendance and a most enjoyable time.

Mrs. Cora Meadows made a cake and decorated it in honor of the coming centennial. Bonaparte was the main topic of conversation. Those present were: Winifred Davis Brown, William and Susie Chamble and daughter, Fred and Dollie Cubberly, Bell Edwards and grand-niece, Walter and Jessie Foster, Fern Gore and children, Samuel and Gertrude Hale, Charles and Margaret Johnson and son, Dale and Edith McConnaughey and Margaret, Annie Meek and daughter, Mamie, Lloyd and Cora Meadows, Robert and Jessie Newbill, Eva Nutt, Dorothy Perkins, Anna Ridgeway, Myrtle Smith, Frank and ella Studivant, Lottie Cates Peuschal and daughter.

Jessie Newbill is president and Anna Ridgeway is secretary of this California-Bonaparte picnic association.
