On Thursday, March 3, 1921, at the Methodist parsonage in Keosauqua, Rev. J.C. Caughlan presided at a ceremony that united in wedlock Mr. Hazen Blackburn and Miss Ve Lazenby.
Both of the contracting parties were born and reared in Van Buren county. The bride is the youngest daughter of Albert G. Lazenby of Des Moines township and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blackburn of Henry township.
The happy couple have the best wishes of their many friends. They are at home to their friends on the farm, recently vacated by Wm. Bell, which adjoins the groom's father's farm.
I am related; submitted for those who might find an interest.
