Hannah – Downs.

On Thursday evening April 6th at the residence of Rev. T.J. Pettit on W. Pearl St. occurred the wedding of Mr. Raymond Hannah of Jackson township and Miss Bess A. Downs of Hillsboro. Rev. Pettit officiated.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Hannah and is one of the many splendid young farmers that Jackson township produces. Raymond with his personal integrity coupled with his most excellent parental backing is bound to win for him and his bride a large degree of success.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Downs, near Hillsboro and is regarded one of the most highly respected young ladies of that neighborhood.

Mr. and Mrs. Hannah will make their home on a farm near the parental home in Jackson township.

Those attending the ceremony were Miss Anna Hannah, sister of the groom and Mr. Lawrence Hunting. Also Mr. Ray Ely and wife, and the Misses Inez and Agnes King of this city. – Mt. Pleasant Journal.
