--J. Smith who has been on the ?? of the "K" line since last October arrive home Tuesday on his way to Milan in response to a telegram from his brother George that their father Orson Smith was dying. Mr. Smith says the Burlington is bridging the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and mak a line of their own into St. Louis which will make quite a change in rail road facilities both east and west. He has heard considerable talk of our new railroad project among high officials. - Democrat
