Mr. C E. Alvey and Miss Sallie Marriott were married at the home of the bride's parents in Vernon, Iowa, Wednesday, August 7, 1907, Rev. Wheeler of the Christian church, Keosauqua, officiating.

Both are highly respected young people. They will reside at 134 Sumner St., Galesburg, Illinois, in which city Mr. Alvey is employed.

Mrs. Alvey taught in the intermediate department of the Bonaparte schools successfully and was reelected, but resigned to become lady of the house for Mr. Alvey. She made many friends here who wish for her many happy years of prosperity in her new home, and the RECORD takes pleasure in joining the friends here in congratulating Mr. Albee in his happy choice of helpmate.
