Hubbel-Schmidt.
Arthur Hubbel and Miss Rose Schmidt were married June 13, 1907, in the state of Washington where Miss Schmidt went a few days ago for that purpose.
They will reside on a farm near Cheney, a small town near Spokane, Washington, and will there be ready to receive friends from Iowa who care to make the long journey "across the plains."
Mr. Hubbel came here several months ago and learned the barber trade in the shop of M. J. Smith. He afterward owned a shop at Bentonsport. He is an industrious, enterprising young man.
Mrs. Hubbel is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schmidt of north Bonaparte. She was for several years a teacher in the graded schools of Bonaparte and elsewhere in this county and is a most estimable young lady. She is an alumnus of Bonaparte high school. Her many friends here wish for her a long life of happiness in her western home.
