Matlock-Baber.

Tuesday evening at eight o'clock April 2, 1907, occurred the marriage of John Blair Matlock to Miss Myrtle May Baber of Bonaparte, Iowa. Rev. Stanley E. Wilkin of Farmington pronounced the words that made them man and wife in the presence of a few friends and relatives at the Baptist parsonage in Farmington, Iowa.

On Wednesday morning they departed for a short wedding trip to visit relatives at Moline, Ill., and elsewhere, and on their return will reside at the home of the bride, for a few months at least.

Mr. Matlock is head clerk in the grocery department of Whiteleys department store and by his affable and accommodating way of caring for trade has won for himself many friends here, all of whom wish for Mr. and Mrs. Matlock many years of happiness.

Mrs. Matlock is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Baber and has grown to womanhood here, being educated in the Bonaparte schools. The RECORD congratulates Mr. Matlock very heartily in his wisdom in the selection of a life partner.
