STAFFORD-HOPKINS At the residence of the bride's parents Mr. & Mrs. Thos. H. Hopkins, Tuesday evening, June 6, John E. Stafford, of Chicago, Ill., and Miss Ida M. Hopkins of this place, Rev. J. W. Wright officiating.

The groom John E. Stafford is a prominent stock commission dealer of Chicago. For many years he was engaged in the mercantile business in Clark county, Mo. and for several years was sheriff and collector of that county. He is an honorable upright man, and stands high in the regard of those who know him. The bride is the youngest daughter of our townsman, T. H. Hopkins and her genial vivacious disposition render her a general favorite in Bonaparte society. Mr. Stafford is to be congratulated on his extremely good fortune in securing for a life mate one who will do also in her power to render him happy.

The JOURNAL tenders its congratuation (sic) to the happy couple and wishes them a long and happy life. Mr. and Mrs. Stafford took the 9 oclock train for Georgetown, Col., where they will spend the honeymoon.
