A Brave Soldier Captured.
Mr. George Meredith of Vernon, after being pierced by Cupid’s arrow, surrendered to Miss Anna Rekoff, daughter of Mr. A. C. Rekoff, of Pierceville. The union of two hearts that beat as one, were cemented by the Rev. R. Breeden, at the residence of the bride's parents, Wednesday evening, September 14, 1892. The happy couple departed the next day for Keokuk to attend the soldiers reunion and from there they went with the party to Washington. Regret cards say they will be “At Home” at the residence of the bride’s parents, October 4. A host of friends wish them unbounded joy and felicity.
