Wedding Bells.
Last Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Blackford threw open their spacious residence to about seven invited guests to witness the nupitial ceremony of their oldest daughter, Miss Clara E. Blackford to Mr. Orr Early, a resident of Harrisburg Township. At exactly 8 p. m. the bridal pair appeared on the front plazza and under a floral horse shoe were pronounced husband and wife by Rev. C. W. Shepherd. Immediately after the ceremony and congratulations a sumptuous and bountiful repast was served.
The following evening the newly wedded pair gave a reception at their own home to a goodly number of their friends and neighbors. The bride is an accomplished Young lady and one of the most successful of our public school instructors, having spent several years in the work. The groom is one of Harrisburg's most enterprising and energetic young farmers and a gentleman of excellent moral worth and character.
