Plumer-Heaton.

The marriage of Mr. Gaywood Plumer and Miss Margaret Heaton was solemnized at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. Aaron Heaton, Wednesday evening, February 5, 1908, at seven o’clock, Rev. Wm. A. Hunt officiating. They were attended by Miss Emma Fichtenmueller of Farmington and Mr. Howard Tade of Hillsboro.

The bride for the past five years has been one of the successful teachers of Lee county. The groom is engaged in the mercantile business at Hillsboro where he has already prepared a home for his bride.

The Heaton home was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Eighty guests were present at the wedding supper, many of them coming from a distance to grace the wedding of a friend or relative.
