Hornbaker-Matlock.
Mr. C. M. Hornbaker and Miss Tina Matlock were married at the home in the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary Matlock in Bonaparte, Iowa, Thursday, June 19, 1913, at three o'clock P. M., The Rev. T. L. Smith of the Baptist church officiating.
The in mediated relatives were present. Miss Janice Burnett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burnett, was flower girl and strewed their path with roses. Luncheon was served following the ceremony.
Mr. Hornbaker is a son of Mrs. Mary Hornbaker, of Bonaparte. He is a partner in the Hill Hardware Co. and is an industrious young man, educated in the school at Bonaparte, also graduated from Gem City Business college at Quincy.
Mrs. Hornbaker has recently been employed in the store of her brother, J. B., And previous to that time was engaged as clerk in other stores here. She was so accommodating, and so kind that she is very popular and has a host of friends with whom the Record joins in extending best wishes.
Mrs. Matlock, the bride's mother, will make her home with Mr. and Mrs. Hornbaker in the residence which Mrs. Matlock has been occupying.
