Gardner-Shaffer.

Mr. Thos. Gardner, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Gardener who live northwest of Bonaparte, and Miss Bessie Shaffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A W Shaffer of Bonaparte were married at Keosauqua Saturday. Mr. Gardner is in the employee of C. W. Easter. Miss Shaffer has been living here with her mother and attending the high school, where she has many friends. She was a good student.
