Perkins-Bell.

Miss Minnie Bell, exemplifying the maxim "once an Orangeman," returns today to Orange, the place of her high school days, after an absence of ten months. Readers of the News are doubtless aware that she returns as Mrs. H. R. Perkins, the wife of Roy Perkins, one of Orange's enterprising young business men. Mrs. Perkins comes among friends, for it is her way to win and hold them, and the companions of her High School days are here.

The wedding occurred at the Bell home at Goshen, Calif., about eight miles from Visalia, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, June 4th. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Grimes of Visalia, and was witnessed by the immediate family of the bride and a few neighbors and friends among whom were Miss Edna Wright of Lindsey, Miss Della Chandler and W. O. Hart of Orange.

The bride, attended by Miss Chandler and the groom by W. O. Hart, took their places before the minister and took their vows in the double ring ceremony, each placing a ring upon the hand of the other. The bride was prettily attired in a white dress of Persian lawn. The simple ceremony over, the guests partook of a delightful Luncheon. The bride and groom left Goshen for Los Angeles at 8 p.m. in a shower of rice and other missles [sic] calculated to impress upon them the affection of their friends and the curiosity of the traveling public. Their baggage contained a number of pretty and valuable presents.

Mr. and Mrs. Perkins will arrive in Orange this evening, and will take up their residence on South Orange street in the house recently vacated by the G. W. Whitsell family, which Mr. Perkins has purchased. -- Orange, Cal., Daily News.
