King-Thompson.

The marriage of Mr. Bertrand J. King of Valley Junction, Iowa, and Miss Ethel Thompson of Bonaparte, took place at the Presbyterian Manse on Thursday afternoon Oct. 20th, Rev. H. J. Taylor officiating.

The ceremony was performed in the presence of Mrs. H. W. Von Seggen, Misses Virgie and Grace Thompson, sisters of the bride, Mr. H. W. Von Seggen and Mr. Arthur Allan [sic] of Mount Sterling.

The bride’s family is well known in Bonaparte, where they have lived for a number of years. The groom is a respected young man, employed as clerk in the railroad shops at Valley Junction, where the happy couple will make their future home. He is a son of M. King, formerly of Bonaparte. Their many friends will join in wishing them many years of happy wedded life.
