Asquith-Proper.

Dr. Guy T. Asquith and Miss Maudalee Proper were married Thursday evening, September 29, 1910, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Proper, of Harrisburg township. The ring ceremony was used by Rev. T. L. Smith in the ceremony which was witnessed by about thirty relatives and friends.

Miss Proper was neatly attired in gray messaline silk trimmed in Spanish silk. The home was neatly decorated for the occasion, the two most interested persons standing under an arch of wedding bells during the ceremony which occurred promptly at seven o’clock. Music was furnished by Mrs. Ethel Landon, a Chicago relative of the Proper family. Mr. and Mrs. Asquith next invited those present to join with them in an elegant four course dinner.

Dr. Asquith is the fourth and youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. G. Asquith of Harlan, Iowa. He hold a B. A. degree from the Iowa State University and is also a graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College. During the past few months he has been practicing at Farmington, but will now include Bonaparte territory in his practice and during the winter with his wife will reside at the Proper home in Harrisburg.

Mrs. Asquith is an only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Proper, was educated in the Bonaparte high school and in Elliotts Business College at Burlington. She is a talented and beautiful young lady and her friends wish for her many years of happiness, and to Dr. Asquith extend congratulations.

Dr. Asquith and Dr. Craig F. Proper were room mates in Chicago. Dr. Asquith came to Bonaparte for a visit and while here because acquainted with Miss Proper, the sister of his college friend.
