Mr. Jesse M. Hornbaker and Miss Clara Perkins were married Tuesday evening, Sept. 20, 1910, at the Baptist parsonage in Bonaparte, Rev. T. L. Smith officiating. Wednesday evening the Bonaparte band gave them a serenade at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Perkins, who reside about two miles southeast of this town.

He was educated in the country schools and in the Bonaparte high school and is an industrious, honorable young man. Mr. and Mrs. Hornbaker will reside on the farm west of Bonaparte belonging to Mr. Hornbaker’s mother. Mr. Hornbaker owns 107 acres adjoining. This will give him the management of about 400 acres.
