Fisher-Fisher.
Friends here were surprised when the news came last week of the approaching marriage of Mrs. Cora Fisher of Bonaparte to Mr. Joe D. Fisher of Kansas City. The ceremony will be performed this week at the home of Mrs. Fisher’s mother, Mrs. Lizzie Entler, in Keokuk.
Mr. C. W. Fisher is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Fisher, her former husband’s name being Wood Fisher, who was a barber in Bonaparte. They will make a wedding trip through Texas and will probably reside in Kansas City. Mrs. Fisher has been employed in the Boston store here.
A letter from Keokuk Tuesday morning states that they are to be married at Keokuk Tuesday by Rev. J. Wesley Potter. The letter also states that Mr. Fisher is foreman of the water treating and heating plants of the Santa Fe R. R.
