Newby-Knauff

Mr. Edward Newby and Miss Vera Knauff were married Wednesday evening, Oct. 20, 1909, at the home of her [the] bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Knauff, near Big Mound. The happy event was witnessed by about one hundred friends and relatives of the happy couple, and an elegant dinner was served.

Mr. Newby is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Newby of near Big Mound. Mrs. Newby is eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Knauff. Both are respected young people who have the best wishes of a host of friends.
