Roof-Dulin.
Mr. Ben Roof of Boulder, Colo., and Miss Edna Dulin were married at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Laura A. Dulin, at Bonaparte, Iowa, Thursday, January 14, 1909, Rev. Clark of the Presbyterian church officiating.
They will be at home after February 1 at Boulder, Colo., where Mr. Roof is employed in a large mercantile establishment. His parents reside at Fremont, Iowa, and it was here that Miss Dulin met Mr. Roof while she was engaged as trimmer in a millinery store.
Mrs. Roof has spent her life thus far in Bonaparte. She was graduated from the public schools here and has recently been employed as milliner. She is a very excellent young lady, being prominent in church and Sunday school work, having for several years been organist of the Presbyterian Sunday School and a member of the church choir. The RECORD joins with many friends in the desire that her wedded life may be very happy.
The ceremony was at eight o’clock a. m. and the happy couple departed on the 9:30 train for Fremont where they will visit a few days. They will probably return to Bonaparte before going west.
