MARY LEAVITT TO WED ORVILLE WHITCANACK

Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Leavitt of Mt. Zion are announcing the approaching marriage of their daughter Mary Louise to Orville Whitcanack, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Whitcanack of Keosauqua.

The wedding will take place in the west some time in May. Miss Leavitt will leave May 3 for Los Angeles, Calif., where she will join Mr. Whitcanack.

Miss Lena Pearl Howard will entertain the group of girl friends at a shower tonight in honor of the bride-to-be.
