Explosion Victim Leaves Hospital

Ernest Miller Returns to Home at Keosauqua; Death Total From Burlington Blast Set at 22.

Ernest Miller of Keosauqua, who was injured in the ordnance plant explosion near Burlington last week, was discharged Tuesday from the hospital at Burlington, where he had been a patient.

Mr. Miller was able to drive his car from Burlington to Keosauqua. Unless complications develop, doctors say he is likely to suffer no permanent ill effects from the accident, in which 20 persons were killed or fatally injured, 2 are missing and many others were hurt more or less seriously.

Clarence Wixom of Farmington was the only Van Buren county resident to lose his life as a result of the blast. Robert Snyder of Birmingham was injured.
