Leading Agricultural AreaSgt. and Mrs. Walker Johnston are visiting at their farm north of Stockport while he is on leave from duties with the state guard at Camp Dodge.
The ladies aid society met at the Christian church Wednesday.
Dr. and Mrs. Clifton Harlan of Ava, Mo., spent last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harlan.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bailey of Mt. Pleasant, visited at the Henry Bailey and Ray Donald homes last week en route to Wichita, Kan., where Bernard Bailey is employed.
Cecil Peck, who had been employed in Chicago, arrived home last week for a few days visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Van Peck, before enlisting in the marines.
