Marjorie Munson Is Bride of C.C. Linn

Ceremony Uniting Former Keosauqua Girl and Burlington Resident Performed in Missouri

Miss Marjorie Munson, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marton Munson of Keosauqua, and Charles C. Linn of Burlington were married in the First Methodist church at Canton, Mo., the afternoon of February 15, it was revealed at a reception at the Hotel Turner in Fairfield Thursday night.

The ceremony was read by Dr. U.S. Smith of New London. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jepson of Burlington. Following the ceremony the wedding party went to Burlington, where a wedding dinner was served.

Mrs. Linn was graduated from the Keosauqua high school, attended Iowa State Teachers' college and Parsons college and taught six years in the Jefferson county schools. She then attended a beauty culture school in Des Moines and for the past two years has been an operator in a beauty studio in Fairfield.

Mr. Linn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Linn, Sr., of Fairfield, is a graduate of Fairfield high school and of the business college in Ottumwa. He was employed by the Gobble and Heer clothing store in Fairfield ten years and recently has been employed at the ordnance plant near Burlington. He is awaiting call to military service.

Among those attending the party given by the bride at Fairfield Thursday evening were Mrs. M.J. Munson of Keosauqua and Mrs. J. Lester McKee of Birmingham, sister of the bride.
