Saturday morning visit with H.H. Overlander

Enjoyed a Saturday morning visit with H.H. Overlander of Stockport vicinity. Mr. Overlander was born in Germany, near the Holland border. His parents made their living by fishing in the North sea, his father catching the fish in nets, and his mother taking them to market in baskets. For several years after coming to America he was employed as farm laborer in Illinois. He is now one of the industrious and independent farmers of Stockport vicinity. While in Bonaparte he visited his daughter Mrs. Frank Van Patten.
