Junkins – Humphryes.
Among the passengers who boarded the noon train Wednesday, Nov. 15, were Mr. Oliver R. Junkins and Miss Georgia Humphryes, and their destination was Keokuk. Arriving in that city they repaired to the Methodist parsonage were, at 5:30 P.M., they were united in marriage by Rev. J.W. Lambert.
Miss Mabel Junkins, as sister of the groom, witnessed the ceremony.
Mr. Junkins is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Junkins, and has been manager of the Junkins shoe store in this place since his parents moved to Farmington. He was at one time a stenographer in the railroad offices at Keokuk.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Humphryes and was born, raised and educated in Bonaparte. She is a charming young woman and shares with her husband the esteem and best wishes of their acquaintances.
Mr. Junkins was entirely too busy in the store to make an extended wedding tour at the present time, and they are going to begin house keeping at once in their home town.
