Happy New Year And Anniversary Party

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lanam in Stockport on Dec. 30th Mrs. Lanam (Mary Jo Morris) entertained several guests, the occasion being the birthday anniversary of herself and her uncle, Sherman Morris; also being the wedding anniversary of Conley Nelson and Marjorie Morris Nelson.

Sherman's anniversary was of the number 77 variety and Mary Jo, the popular beauty operater's anniversary might be known as 128 seasons; and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson were celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary.

Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morris, Mrs. Sherman Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Morris and son, Bob, and grandson, John Harlan Nelson, and Mrs. Stanley Lane.

About 6:30 the hostess served a bountiful dinner, after which gifts were distributed among the guests. The remainder of the evening was spent in games and visiting.

On leaving there were greetings by all for a Happy New Year, good health and a prosperous 1942.
