Ruth McGreer Weds Kenneth Hendricks

Ceremony Uniting Bonaparte Girl and Oklahoman Is Performed at Memphis, Mo., Friday.

Miss Ruth McGreer of Bonaparte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George McGreer of Houghton, and Kenneth Hendricks of Lawton, Okla., were married at Memphis, Mo., at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. They were accompanied by Miss Patricia Pickard, Miss Hazel Nelson and Lee McGreer.

The bride, a graduate of the Bonaparte high school, has been employed at the glove factory in Bonaparte, and made her home with her grandmother, Mrs. Will McGreer.

The newlyweds left Saturday morning for Lawton, Okla., to make their home. Mr. Hendricks is employed in a garage.

Mr. and Mrs. George McGreer of Donnellson are announcing the married of their only daughter, Ruth, to Kenneth E. Hendricks, son of Capt. and Mrs. Earl F. Hendricks of Lawton, Okla.

The wedding of Dec. 26yh, 1941, was a late afternoon affair at Memphis, Mo.

The bride was lovely in a dress of new blue with black accessories with a shoulder corsage of pink and yellow sweetheart roses. The groom was attired in a medium blue suit.

They were attended by Miss Hazelle Nelson and Miss Patricia Pickard of Bonaparte, friends of the bride, and they each carried yellow sweetheart roses, also by the bride's brother, Mr. Lee McGreer of Donnellson.

Soon after the wedding the couple left for their new home at Lawton, Okla., where he is employed as body man in the Buick garage.

The bride has for several months been employed in the Bonaparte glove factory. Her many friends in this community extend best wishes. She was graduated from Bonapart high school with the class of 1939.
