Huff - Williams

Maurice Huff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Huff of Harrisburg township and Miss Reva Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams of near Mt. Sterling, were married at the home of the bride's parents at four o'clock Sunday afternoon August 17, 1941, by the Rev. Hugo Orf.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Miss Rhea Stecker was bridesmaid and Claude Dannenhauer was best man. Mrs. John Estel Craig was pianist.

The bride is a graduate of Cantril high school and has been employed at the South Iowa plant in Keosauqua. Mr. Huff is a graduate of Bonaparte high school and has been assisting his father in teh operation of his farm. Soon after the wedding they left for a short honeymoon trip in the northwest.

Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Campbell and three sons, Lester Stecker and Glenna Dannenhauer of Bonaparte; Mr. and Mrs. William Hards, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kerr, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams and children, Hazel Belle Junior, Roland, Nellie, Max and Donnie of Mt. Sterling; Frank Baker of Birmingham; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kinsinger of Ottumwa; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Williams, Mr. and Mrs. John Craig, Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson, Miss Lucile Lutz, Mrs. Jeanne Campbell of Keosauqua; Howard Huff and daughter, Molly Rae, Mr. and Mrs. Lynford Leavitt and children, Maurine, Myrl and Lena Pearl, and Mrs. Gladys Howard of Mt. Zion, and Harry Huff of Hillsboro.
