Lanes Married Half Century

Stockport Pair Entertains at Family Dinner Celebration of Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lane, who have spent all their married life in the Stockport vicinity, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home on December 31. A turkey dinner was served to a large group, which included their five sons and one daughter. All the sons live within a radius of about two and a half miles.

Those attending the celebration included the Rev. and Mrs. Walter Sieck(?sp) of Stockport, Mr.a nd Mrs. Harry Lane and daughter Beverly, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lane and sons Beryl and Stan, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Lane and daughters Betty and Dorothy, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lane and Jerry Lee, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lane of Stockport and Mr. and Mrs. Deo Blott and daughter Terry Diane of Ft. Madison.

The elderly couple was presented a radio. Flowers were sent by the following: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lane, Mrs. Ida Anderson and family and Mrs. Belva Hutchinson and children from Detroit, Mich.

Many callers were received during the afternoon and evening.
