Married.

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wallingford, of Harrisburg township, occurred the marriage of Mr. Roy H. Brown and Miss Nora A. Wallingford Wednesday, February 16, 1898.

About 10 o'clock friends and relatives began to assemble, bringing their boxes and parcels. Relatives were present from Anson, Mo., Warren and Bonaparte and vicinity.

At 12 o'clock, sharp, the happy couple were escorted to the parlor where, beneath a beautiful decorations, they were, by a solemn and impressive ceremony, made man and wife by Rev. W. M. Cooney, of Danville, Ill.

After congratulations the company repaired to the dining room, where they sat down to a bountiful repast, richly and elegantly prepared by the bride's mother.

Many valuable and useful presents were left by their friends. We can only make mention of two; the groom's father game them the home and it will be furnished by the bride's father.

They will live just east of the Franklin school house, where they will be glad to see all their old friends and meet many new ones.

The best wishes of the whole community go with them.
