MARRIED AT BENTONSPORT.

Mr. Elmer H. Long and Miss
Corene E. Berg of Bonaparte,
Rev. Collier Officiating.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19.

For several months Elmer H. Long has been furnishing and planning a home for his bride and it was with no great degree of surprise that his friends heard of his marriage to Miss Corene E. Berg at high noon of Wednesday, August 19, 1903.

Elmer Long is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Long of Bonaparte and is an industrious young gentleman in whom Bonaparte people have the utmost confidence. He is by trade a painter and decorator but recently has been cutting marble for C. E. Fuller because painting injured his health.

Mrs. Long is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Berg whose home is near the river below town. She is in every way fitted to be a helpmate and companion for the gentleman of her choice.

They were married at the home of Mr. Long's sister, Mrs. C. H. Thomas of Bentonsport, Rev. Collier of the Bonaparte M. E. church performing ceremony.
