Farmington, Iowa, at Seven
O'clock in the Evening.

MATLOCK-FINE.

David Matlock had for several weeks been telling the RECORD people in a joking way that he was soon to be married. They had almost ceased to expect a chance to chronicle the fact when on Monday Dave came to the office with his face wreathed in smiles and said that Matlock had married Fine.

The ceremony occurred at seven o'clock P. M. Sunday January 25, 1903, at the Methodist parsonage at Farmington, Rev. J. Herbert Taylor speaking the words that made them one.

Mrs. Matlock is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fine of Farmington and was reared near that town. She is well adapted to make for Mr. Matlock a cheerful companion.

David Matlock grew to manhood near Bonaparte. His mother, Mrs. Mary Matlock, resides here. Dave is a barber, having learned the trade in a Bonaparte shop and is now running a shop in Pulaski, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Matlock came to Bonaparte Monday morning and spent the day with relatives and friends. They left Tuesday for Pulaski and will to to housekeeping at once.
