MORE WEDDING BELLS.

Jacob F. Rohdy and Sophia Schau
married at the Home of
The Bride's Parents.

JANUARY EIGHTH 1903.

At high noon on Thursday, January 8, 1903, Jacob F. Rhody and Miss Sophia Schau were happily wedded in the presence of 51 invited guests. Miss Anna Rohdy was bridesmaid and Herman Schau groomsman.

Many useful and beautiful presents were received among which were the following: - [$40? or] $10.00 from the bride's uncle in California, $10.00 from the bride's uncle in Missouri, $5 from her grandfather, a cuckoo clock from the bride's father and mother, twenty-six pieces of silverware from Mr. Rohdy's parents also a gold watch for Mr. Rohdy from the same source, and Henry Schau, a brother of the bride presented the happy pair with a large mirror. There were other presents too numerous too mention.

The bride was dressed in gray trimmed in white. The groom and best man wore black, and the bride-made was becomingly attired in a gown of light blue and white.

The aged grandparents of the bride were both present. Mr. and Mrs. Schau left on the evening train for Ft. Madison to visit relatives and friends.

Note. The RECORD was not forgotten and hereby expresses thanks for a beautiful box of most excellent wedding cake. The bride's cake was especially good but the directions didn't state whether it was home made or a restaurant product. Anyway, it was good.
