A Pretty Wedding.

Two miles north of Bonaparte at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mahler, on Jan. 23, 1901, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Rosa, to Mr. Michael A. King. Precisely at seven, to the well-rendered strains of a wedding march, played by the bride's sister, Anna, the bridal party, with Miss Jennie Mahler as bridesmaid, and Mr. Ed. King as Groomsman appeared beneath a beautifully-decorated arch, Rev. John Daley officiating.

After the ceremony congratulations were extended and all repaired to the dining room where choice refreshments were served.

The bride is a most esteem able young lady and was a successful school teacher. The groom is a fine young man, is widely known and has many friends. The wedding was a quiet one, there being no one present but the immediate relatives of the contracting parties. The evening was spent in music and social conversation, and the guests departed at a late hour. Many elegant presents were received.

Mr. and Mrs. King will reside on a farm one-half miles north of Bonaparte.
