Pretty Wedding.
Yesterday morning at the home of the bride occurred the marriage of Miss Alice Ryan and Mr. D. J. Harries, of Jacksonville, Ill. At 10 o'clock mass was said and the words which waited them for life were spoken by Father Daly, of Farmington.
The bride is a young lady who was born and has always lived in our city. She is an accomplished young woman and has many friends. She wore a castor broadcloth trimmed with white material of the same and pink satin, looking uncommonly handsome.
The groom is a fine young man, who for some time was employed in the Meek Bros. establishment here, but lately has held a position in a like business in Jacksonville. He was attired in black.
The wedding was a quiet one, there being present only Miss Ryan and Mr. James Ryan, sister and brother of the bride, who attend[ed] the bridal pair, Mrs. Frank Smith, Misses Jennie and Lottie Cassiday, and Floy Cresap, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Cresap and Messrs Joe Scheyll? and A. H. Cummings.
After a short stay here they will go to Jacksonville, Ill., where they will make their home. The RECORD offers its best wishes and congratulations.
