McCullough-Custer
At the residence of the bride's father, J. L. Custer in Bonaparte, Oct. 10 by Rev. Henneigh, Mr. W. W. McCullough and Miss Mattie N. Custer all of this county.

"Let you be unconfined: No sleep till morn." It seemed that sleep would not be desired to interrupt the continuous flow of ecstatic pleasure which enraptured the whole company. Tws (sic) truly an enjoyable affair. Everything that was anticipated was fully realized. Immediately after the ceremony and hearty congratulations, supper was announced, and the happy company was soon comfortably seated around as sumptuous a feast as ever graced the board. Everything one could possibly desire was spread before him, in a manner displaying good taste and exquisite care in arrangement. In the center of the table was elevated the bride's cake, ornamented with a beautifully designed wreath of orange blossoms, the wax work of Miss Fannie A. Custer. There were five different kinds of cake artistically arranged about the table. Everything was in order and worked harmoniously. Miss Happy Plummer presented the bride with an elegantly bound volume of Burns Poems. After supper the happy pair proceeded to the depot to take the westward bound train to Des Moines. They were followed the the well wishes of a large circle of friends.
