Smith-Guess.

Mr. Lee Smith of Mt. Sterling and Miss Mabel E. Guess of Bonaparte were married at the M. E. parsonage in Mt. Sterling, Iowa, Wednesday at 4 P. M. February 17, 1909, Rev. Blagg officiating.

Mr. Smith is son of Thos. Smith and has for several years lived near Mt. Sterling. He is a prominent young farmer, quite well educated and is an athletic and industrious young man.

Mrs. Smith is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Guess who live south of Bonaparte. She is a beautiful and accomplished young lady and should make for her husband a happy home.

They will go to housekeeping on Mr. Smith's farm east of Mt. Sterling,. Both are highly respected young people and have the best wishes of a host of friends. The RECORD takes pleasure in extending congratulations. [This would be the Bonaparte RECORD newspaper]
