Russell-Rule Wedding

Married, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Rule, in this city, Sunday, November 15, 1908, at 6 o'clock p. m., Mr. Adam Russell, and Miss Lillie Rule. The ceremony took place in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the contracting parties, and was performed by Rev. V. O. White, pastor of the M. E. church South, of this city.

The bride is well known in this city, where she was reared, and is a most worthy young lady. For about three years she was a compositor in The Democrat office, and was a faithful and loyal employee. Her marriage makes the ninth of The Democrat girls who have been married during the past eight years.

Mr. Russell owns a farm in the vicinity of Bonaparte, Iowa, and is said to be a prosperous and honorable citizen. Monday at noon Mr. and Mrs. Russell took the east bound train for Bonaparte, Iowa, near which place they will reside.

The Democrat joins the many friends of the newly married couple in wishing them a happy and prosperous journey through life. -- Memphis Democrat.
