Kerr-Shaffer

Mr. William B. Kerr and Miss Rose Shaffer were married at Charleston, Washington, Wednesday, January 30, 1907. There were a number of friends of the happy pair and relatives of the bride present.

Mr. Kerr is second quartermaster on the receiving ship Philadelphia stationed at Bremerton, Washington, and his term of enlistment will expire February 28 of this year. He has been very popular on his ship on account of his ability as an athlete and football player but has not yet definitely decided whether he will reenlist. They expect to start for Iowa about as soon as possible after Mr. Kerr's term of enlistment expires.

Mr. Kerr is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kerr of Bonaparte and his parents and relatives here are very anxious to see him and his western bride.
