Schau-Rhody.

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Rohdy, Farmington Iowa, Thursday, Jan. 17, 1907, occurred the marriage of their eldest daughter, Anna, to Herman G. Schau, the Rev. J. E. Berkner officiating, in the presence of about ninety relatives and friends.

While Miss Cliffie Windland played Mendelssohn's wedding march, the bridal couple, attended by Mr. Anton Schau and Miss Mary Rohdy, took their places under an arch in the parlor.

The bride is one of Lee county's charming young ladies and is loved by all and was beautifully gowned in white silk mulle trimmed in lace and ribbons, carrying cream bridal roses; while the groom is one of Van Buren county's young, industrious farmers, he being attired in the usual conventional black.

After the ceremony a bountiful repast was served in the dining room, after which the gentlemen betook themselves to the smoking car especially arranged by Mr. Rohdy.

The young couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents and at a late hour the guests departed wishing the young couple a happy and prosperous life.
